Homoeopathic remedies for dealing with disasters
Homeopathic physicians have been able in the past to make an important contribution to defeat epidemics
LMHI Past-President Dr. Ulrich D. Fischer states in his speech on the occasion of the Internationaly Homeopathy Day 2011 in Zagreb, Croatia, that "in these days we also share the anxieties and worries of the Japanese population. Our hearts and thoughts accompany - as closely as possible - the efforts of our Japanese colleagues, also of the homeopathically working colleagues, to alleviate the suffering of the worst affected people in Japan. And even here, in such difficult situations or catastrophes, homeopathy has possibilities to ameliorate the mental and physical situation of the affected patients. Homeopathy is able to help to relieve direct and indirect consequences of exposure to nuclear radiation. Homeopathy also showed its effiency in great epidemic diseases. It was, for examplde, the cholera epidemic of 1831 where Hahnemann treated his patients - for the first time - successfully with homeopathy, and later on the great cholera epidemic of Peru in 1991 when national and international teams of homeopathic physicians have been able to make an important contribution to defeat this epidemic."
