1] Homeopathic Treatment results are due to the effects of placebo.
Placebo response rate is generally around 30-40%.
General response rate to homeopathic treatment was 79%
There was a lack of significant correlation between lengths of time in treatment to results.
2] Homeopaths treat mostly functional or psychiatric conditions.
This study indicates that homeopathy treats a wide variety of conditions successfully from mild to severe pathology with good results.
3] There area sufficient number of homeopathic practitioners in the United States.
There are fairly good distribution of practitioners in the Northeast, Western states and Colorado. There is a greater need in the Midwest and Southeastern states.

They found that there were many populations underserved by homeopathic medicine: A] Low income. B] Hispanic. C] African American. D] Native American. E] Elderly.
5] Success rates are the same for all homeopathic conditions.
They found that the success rates varied. Infectious diseases had the best results and endocrinological had the lowest success rate.
6] Children have better success rates than adults.
They found that children had worse success rates than adults in all categories.
7] Elderly patients have worse success rates than adults.
They found that the elderly had a trend towards slightly worse success rates.
8] Homeopathic treatment is too expensive.
Average annual cost was $580.
However, the average cost savings of the reduction in conventional medication and supplements was $1033 per year.
This makes a net savings of $453.
9] Homeopathic treatment is equally effective regardless of modality of treatment.
They found that classical homeopathy was statistically higher in all categories than for complex homeopathic treatment.
They found no statistically significant diffenences between classical homeopathic treatment and combined classical and complex homeopathic treatment.
10] What patients like least about treatment is the lack of treatment success.
This was not found to be true. That which was least liked about homeopathic treatment was the slowpace of healing.
It takes a long time to achieve success in homeopathic treatment.
It takes a long time to achieve success in homeopathic treatment.
11] It takes a long time to achieve success in homeopathic treatment.
The time varied, but on the average about 21/2 to 31/2months.
12] Side effects to homeopathic treatment where new symptoms develop [not return of old symptoms] are seldom seen in treatment.
Approximately 75% of symptoms were OLD; only about 23% were NEW.
13] It is impossible to make a living practicing homeopathic medicine.
The overall average income of homeopathic practitioners was $49,500 per year.
The average for those of more extensive training was $101,000 per year.
14] The homeopathic system of treatment makes a significant difference in treatment results.
There was limited data to study this question. However, they did find that those patients treated with polychrest remedies achieved the same results as those who received more esoteric remedies.
15] Understanding how homeopathic medicine works has no impact on treatment results.
They found that those patients who described better understanding of homeopathic treatment had statistically significantly better treatment results.
16] Those patients who are sensitive to conventional medications or to homeopathic medicines have poorer treatment results.
The study showed that there was a slight improvement in results for those patients who were more sensitive to either conventional or homeopathic treatments.
17] Men do equally well in homeopathic treatment as do women.
The study revealed that women did consistently better the men.
