Homeopathy in Greece
Annual Report to the LMHI
In Greece, there are currently approximately 250 active homeopathic doctors, and 120 homeopathic doctors are currently being trained (Athens and Thessaloniki). There are about 40 laymen practicing homeopathy, although the Medical Associations have opposed this practice. Classical homeopathy is stron in Greece, althouch complex remedies are available as over-the-counter (OTC) durgs.
