LMHI Report
This year has seen the development of a viable internship program for homoeopathic graduates pending implementation by the Allied Health Professions Council of South Africa (AHPCSA) as well as investigations of scope of practice changes of registered homoeopaths in order to assist with the healthcare burden of our country and integration into the public healthcare system. The Medicines Control Council of South Africa (MCC) has proposed requirements and guidelines for registration of proprietary CAM products to which the HSA commented extensively after having consulted the MCC directly.
National Congress
The HSA's bi-annual National Congress is entitled “Medicine for the 21st Century" and will be held from 27-29 April 2012 at the Vineyard Hotel and Spa in Newlands (Cape Town(South Africa). The Early Bird Booking Deadline expires on 14 February 2012.
